Clean Harbors Springfield, MO is looking for a Fabricator to join their safety conscious team! In this role, the Fabricator will operate a plasma table, sheer and brake press to create form parts for production and assembly of tanker trailers.

  Responsibilities
  
  Key Responsibilities:
  
  
  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
  • Operate forklift, moving materials in and out of facility
  • Bend and form variety of parts for manufacturing assembly
  • Complete daily checklist as required
  • Assure that Equipment is properly parked/secured in compliance with facility permit and DOT requirements.
  • Maintain facility via housekeeping duties
  • Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business.
    
    Qualifications
    
    What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?
    
    
    • High School diploma or equivalent required
    • Ability to work in a team environment
    • 1+ years prior experience working on heavy duty-trucks and equipment.
    • Fork lift experience preferred but not required ( will train )
    • Must provide own basic tools
    • Self motivated and independent
    • Related mechanical certifications preferred (not required)
    • Basic math and computer skills
    • Ability to pass a background, drug, and physical test upon hire
