Nurse patient ratios are: Days 5:1, Nights 6:1. On our unit we offer you the opportunity to develop excellent critical thinking skills as well as use a wide variety of clinical skills including:Head-to-toe assessmentsReading and posting telemetry stripsIV insertionsCatheter, trach, and ostomy careWound careChest tubesQualifications:Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.Physical requirements/demands:Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basisPosition requires prolonged standing and walking each shiftPosition requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform dutiesEEO/AA/Minorities/Females/Disabled/Veteransby Jobble
