Job Title: Diesel MechanicLocation: Gassville, ARSchedule: Monday - Friday (8:00 a.m. 6:00 p.m.), with occasional SaturdaysPay: $18/hr.Job Summary:We are seeking a safety conscious Diesel Mechanic to join our dedicated team at our Gassville, AR hauling site. In this role, you'll be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on our fleet of garbage trucks. Your expertise will ensure the smooth operation of hydraulic and electrical systems , parts replacement, and minor engine repairs.Benefits:

• Tool allowance of $200 per month

• 401(k) with $1 per $1 match
• Paid vacationKey Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance on diesel engines and related systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and electrical systems
  • Replace worn or damaged parts and perform minor engine repairs
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations
  • Perform other tasks as required to support fleet operationsIdeal Candidate:
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in diesel or heavy truck fleet maintenance
    • Class A or B CDL is a plus
    • Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
